WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

This course aims to guide dentists to learn how to select the correct dental photography equiments and how to use them properly in daily practice. The course would be useful for the dentists or specialists who wants to improve their skills in intraoral and extraoral dental photography techniques, artistic dental photography, dental shade selection, mobile dental photography, and also image processing procedures.

The course program will include various dental equipments of different brands and several flash light units. A comrehensive lecture with informative case photographs will be presented during the course and the techniques will be discussed. Following the lecture part, an hands-on parts will be provided for the participants and each one will be able to try different dental photography equipments on a live human model.

About dr. Korkut

Dr. Bora Korkut is an international renowned lecturer in the field of restorative dentistry, working as an academic member (Assoc. Prof.) and clinical specialist in Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry, Istanbul, since 2008. He focuses on the direct and indirect restorations, prerestorative treatments, clinical dental photography, tooth wear, and caries diagnosis and management and has many international scientific publications about these topics. He has performed more than 100 national / international hands-on courses regarding the direct and indirect restorations since 2015. He developed the Composite Plastering Technique (CPT) and Polychromatic Reverse Layering Technique (PRLT). He is a Restorative Advisory Board Member of GC Europe and key opinion leader (K.O.L.) of many international dental companies such as Hu-Friedy Europe, Tokuyama, Dentsply Sirona, Polydentia, and Align Technology. He is an Invisalign provider and brand ambassador of SONY.
